For the past few weeks I have wished to go back to our adventure of California during spring break. Kay, Robby, Tay, and I drove up the coast of California in a week and back up to Washington. We started in Utah, then hit Las Vegas, and then headed to the Golden State. Our first stop was Anaheim/Disneyland which was so so fun! We spent two days there, then headed up to various beaches. We stayed in Pismo Beach and continued to travel along the beaches and up the 101 and 1. The sights were beyond beautiful. Our final stay was in San Francisco. I fell in love with this city the minute we crossed the bridge. The buildings are textured and magnificent, I could not get over their beauty. Not only were the buildings wonderful, but the water and the pier(s). I would not mind climbing hills everyday if I were living in this rad city. A girl can dream... As we headed home on our last day, we stopped in the Redwood National Forests. Northern California was a dream and reminded me of Washington. I realized that I was homesick for my little town in the very corner of the Evergreen State and knew that even though this adventure was grand, it was time to go home.
Until Next time California (especially San Fran).
Here are a few pictures from our trip, enjoy.
