Last night I was an astrophotographer for a whole 2 hours!
I've always been fascinated by the stars, I mean who wouldn't be? I learned how to photograph them a while back and haven't had much time to try again. Last night the sky was so clear and the stars were so prevalent. There was no way I was going to miss out on this opportunity.
I took out my cot and some cozy/fuzzy blankets, set up my tripod and my 35 mm Sigma lens (BEST LENS EVER), set my ISO to 1250, shutter speed to 30 seconds, and I ranged between f/8 and f/11.
The stars were amazing! Even though there was slight light pollution, the stars shone bright!
I thank Heavenly Father every day for this wonderful world we live in and for the painted skies when the sun goes down. I also thank him for the opportunity to be savvy with a camera. It's my passion and I don't know what I would do without it.
Here are my results from last night. I am still improving but man, aren't these cool?!
