Like all summers do, my summer has come to an end and my junior year at Ferndale High School has nearly started. Summer ended when I went to the jamboree on the football field and school started when it (almost) felt like a normal Friday football night. Surprisingly, I am excited for school to start and to continue my high school career. I'm even more excited for athletic games and spending time with some of my pretty cool friends.
Speaking of friends, a few of them were at the jamboree and we had quite the time. The night was full of jokes and laughs and good times. Times like these are when I'm really happy that I live in a town like Ferndale and I can have enjoyable moments with close friends.
I brought my camera so that I could capture some pretty great moments. I'm still practicing and found out last night that I need to practice even more in order to get the shots that I want. That's okay though, I had fun doing it and I did get some fun pictures.
Our football team didn't perform their best last night, but it was only a jamboree and I'm excited to see what this season has in store for us!
Most importantly, I'm excited to see how close my friends and I can get this year and how many new friendships will be discovered!
Here's to junior year kids and having the time of our lives.
A few pictures from last night.
